Pranam to Swamiji.
I wish to express my thoughts about the shibir. I wanted to speak yesterday, but due to time constraints, I was unable to.
Since childhood, I have been connected with spirituality because my field is classical music. As we know, classical music is a part of the Samaveda, known as Gandharva Veda. Because of this Vedic foundation, I became associated with the worldwide Transcendental Meditation movement established by His Holiness Shri Maharshi Mahesh Yogi. The organization has centers in major cities across the world, along with schools, colleges, and universities in various countries. I had the opportunity to teach music in North America at a university in Fairfield, Iowa, for ten years.
I mention all above information because I have been exposed to Vedic knowledge at a deep level for many years. Yet I can say with absolute certainty that what I experienced during the three-day shibir was truly unmatched. It was extraordinary—an exceptional blend of mythology, philosophy, and scientific insight, presented with a highly intellectual approach to attaining the highest state of consciousness, the supreme consciousness.
Thank you so much, Swamiji, for opening the doors to the ultimate path of Gyana Yoga. I feel blessed.
I am also deeply grateful for the opportunity to present my music.
Pranam,
Vedang Dharashive.
🙏🙏
