Reasons to vote Narendra Modi.

Modi recently said in a speech ‘Irrespective of who contests in your constituency, I am your only Candidate’. He was bang on target. Well, most of us in Gujarat don’t need any convincing to vote for Modi, but I am writing this for the fence-sitters who haven’t yet made up their mind.  This is also for the pseudo-intellectuals who believe that Gujarat was always developed and Modi hasn’t done a thing and the pessimists who keep finding miniscule faults with the Gujarat growth story!
1.   Development
Vidya  Balan epitomised the reason for the Box-office success of a film and that is Entertainment , Entertainment and Entertainment. Similarly Modi has proved that the sole guarantor of electoral success is Development , Development and only Development. Perhaps for the first time in Indian history an election would be fought on the plank of development, and defeating him Modi on the issue of development would be synonymous to England defeating India on the spinner friendly pitches at home! And just as the media discredit him for the action of Gujaratis in the 2002 riots , it ought to credit him for the development he has achieved in partnership with the same people of Gujarat! Fair enough?
2.   Infrastructure
I would choose not to mention flashy jargons and data but to elicit the ground realities. Having lived in Gujarat for the past 10 years in Ahmedabad as well as Baroda, I do not remember a single instance of enforced power cut, which is a pretty regular phenomenon in other states. Hope Rahul baba doesn’t respond to this by saying ‘Gujarat mein bijli kisne pahunchayi....Humne’. Gujarat’s flagship project Jyotigran Yojna has been acclaimed even by the Central Govt. Several parts of Saurashtra were chronically affected by water scarcity and private tankers were the only option. But since the last few years this situation has drastically changed with water reaching many remote areas as well. Having just shifted to Auckland , I could observe that things do look very different from back home. But coming from Gujarat, I didn’t find much difference in the quality of roads. Recently even World Bank was appreciative of the roads in Gujarat.
3.  Non-Corrupt Regime
At a time when almost every minister in the Central Govt. Has some case of corruption against him, isn’t it indeed remarkable that Modi even after completing 4000 days in office has not a single allegation on a personal level against him? The closest his opponents could get to him was that he gave away land cheaply to industries and even these allegations were squashed by the M B Shah commission. I would like to give an example to illustrate the hilarious nature of these allegations. Suppose in a rural area devoid of any industries and dependent on only farming, the land rate is Rs 300/ sq mt. The Govt sells 1,00,000 sq mt. To a leading industrial house for Rs 150/sq mt  as any govt gives concessions for new industries for a total of Rs 1,50,00,000 . Now this industry brings many new investors who get the land at new rates which have inflated considerably . The farmers turn into millionaires overnight by selling their land. New opportunities of employment are generated. The govt earns huge amount in taxes . The entire area is developed and new schools, colleges, hospitals and parks come up. Today the market rate for land in the region is 1500/ sq mt. So would u agree with the Congress that the initial Govt Concession is corruption and has caused a loss ? I bet, any enterprising Gujarati would call it Investment!

4.   Law & Order

However hard the Media tries to project an atmosphere of fear in Gujarat, it is a fact that Gujarat is the safest state in India. How else would you explain beautiful girls dressed in gorgeous dresses moving fearlessly on the roads at midnight during Navratri. Had it been some other state in the same scenario we would have to calculate the crimes in a unit called RPM-Rapes per Minute! All the cynics shouting at stray incidents of petty crimes in Gujarat should spend some time in Congress ruled states to understand the importance of Gujarat.
5.  Modi’s Vision
His vision sets Modi apart from all major players in the political circuit. Kankaria lake was a redundant entity till he refurbished it and made it a landmark in Ahmedabad. While most PM Candidates in present times would struggle to differentiate between renewable and non-renewable sources of energy, Modi has put his money on Solar Energy , setting up Asia’s largest solar power plant in Gujarat. While activists the world over are calling for the use of public transport , the BRTS is already perfectly operating , encouraging people to take up Public transport. Similarly the astonishingly beautiful Sabarmati riverfront is immensely popular among the people today.

6. Communal Harmony

Believe it or not, life in Gujarat is in stark contrast to what happened in 2002.Actually not a single incidence of communal violence for the past 10 years is a remarkable achievement from the turbulent times of 2002. There is also a growing sense of trust in the judicial process as a former minister was not spared for her involvement in the riots. It would be no exaggeration to say that communal harmony is at its best under Modi at present. A recent RTI revealed that inspite of the Congress claims of being the Minority Messiah , it is Gujarat who gave them proper representation in the police force.
7. Tourism
For the folks who say that everything Modi’s been bragging about has always existed, they miss a crucial point. Gujarat always had the Kutch deserts, picturesque Saputara and a lot of other places of historical significance. But the thing which was missing was tourists! Due to Modi’s endeavours people world over now recognise Gujarats beauty. Roping in Amitabh Bachchan as the Brand Ambassador at the expense of Sibbal’s favourite number and a superb ad campaign have helped tremendously increase the tourism in Gujarat.
8. Gujarat Asmita
Modi has very aptly instilled a feeling of Gujarati Pride among the 6 crore Gujaratis. Gujarat which was previously at best a laid back prosperous state is now competing and outclassing the best. Gone are the days when Gujarat was a ‘Gokulyu Gaam’(idyllic village). The response and respect you get today from any Indian when u tell him/her that you are from Gujarat is just heartening!
9. No other Alternative
If the above reasons fail to convince you , just imagine Modhwadia as the CM of Gujarat. Got the shock of your life?? Good, now vote for Modi!

Kejriwal ji Namaskar.

AAP bhi na.....
After media, now its the Judiciary who is not happy with AAP leaders. What do AAP fanatics have to say to this? Judiciary bhi bika hua hai? Aag lagaado, fod daalo, jalaa do, sab khatam kardo, sab chor hain, maar do sabko. You know what I mean?
Socialism just does not work, when you make a promise to voters and don't allocate funds for it, the nation suffers. The false promise of power subsidy by AAP is a perfect example of why socialist drag the economy down. Promise the moon, run away when you have to deliver.

Delhi’s auto-rickshaw drivers, who had played a key role in Arvind Kejriwal’s campaign ahead of Assembly elections last December, approached the Delhi Election Commission on Tuesday demanding action against the AAP “betraying” and not reimbursing them for using their vehicles for advertisement purposes.General secretary of Delhi Autorickshaw Sangh Rajender Soni and other representatives met Election Commission officials and claimed that the political parties never paid them for using their vehicles for advertisement purposes.Accusing Kejriwal of “betraying” the auto-drivers and labourers of the capital, Soni said a large number of auto drivers had extended support to the AAP because of their anti-corruption stand, but their expectations were unfulfilled. “We will protest against any party that has betrayed us. The AAP went back on its promises. Kejriwal used to say he will make the contractual employees in Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) permanent, but he failed to do so. He had promised we will get licences; the police will stop harassing us. Did it happen? No. We will now tell the public how he cheated us,” Soni said.
This index is created by the Heritage foundation(the leading think tank foundation of US) and Wall Street Journal(needs no introduction). Now kejriwal will say that Modi has bought America too with the help of Ambani & Adani..JAGO INDIA JAGO.

AAP team is indulging in negative propaganda, per the group: "Their design is to paint all established parties with the same brush, promote cynicism in the public sphere, hamper the process of voter education, and create a space for themselves in the mass media. Ironically - or perhaps tellingly - these calculations can only benefit the Congress as it fights what would appear to be an impossible election"

Gujrat is No.1 state..

Narendra Modi`s Gujrat tops on No.1

The Economic Freedom of the States of India report 2013 has shown that the Narendra Modi helmed Gujarat remains at number one. This is an index that measures governance, growth, citizens' rights, and labour and business regulation among the country's 20 largest states. Equally, Bihar gets a huge vote of affirmation for the work done by Nitish Kumar since he took over as chief minister (CM) in 2005.
The report states that Gujarat has widened its lead at the top of the economic freedom table with an index score of 0.65 (on a scale from 0 to 1.0) while Tamil Nadu remains in second position with 0.54.
The annual report estimates economic freedom based on data for 2013 using a methodology adapted from the Fraser Institute's Economic Freedom of the World (EFW) annual reports. The report is published through a joint effort of Friedrich-Naumann- Stiftung für die Freiheit, US-based think tank Cato Institute and the Academic Foundation, New Delhi. The three states recording the fastest improvement in economic freedom have been among the fastest-growing states.
Growth has averaged 12 per cent in Gujarat, 10.6 per cent in Chhattisgarh and 10.4 per cent in Pradesh between 2005 and 2011. "Gujarat is not only the freest state, but it has also registered the fastest rate of improvement in the index (from 0.46 in 2005 to 0.65 in 2013)," the report said. This report comes at a time when the Gujarat development model continues to be questioned. The report, co-authored by well-known economists Swaminathan S. Anklesaria Aiyar, Laveesh Bhandari and Bibek Debroy, further says, "States in India which are economically more free are also doing better in terms of a higher per capita growth for its citizens; unemployment levels are lower in these states, sanitary conditions are better and the states also attract more investment."

Arvind Kejriwal is not just a bad politician, he is a bad Indian.

AAP's full-frontal assault on Modi is downright unpatriotic. Arvind Kejriwal is not just a bad politician, he is a bad Indian.

Twelve leading citizens of our nation are very "concerned". So much so that these worried gentlemen -- the likes of Gen SK Sinha, ex-director IB Ajit Doval, journalists MV Kamath and MJ Akbar and former DG Punjab Police PC Dogra et al -- have issued a joint "appeal" calling out unnamed new political parties for failing in their patriotic duty to bring down the UPA government. "We are shocked that some new-fangled political groups are targeting the BJP more than the Congress, which has been in office for 10 years now," declares the alarmist statement which goes on at length about the perils posed by such Johnny-come-latelys: Reuters The statement said the design of such parties was to promote cynicism in the public sphere, hamper the process of voter education, and create a space for themselves in the mass media. "Ironically-or perhaps tellingly-these calculations can only benefit the Congress as it fights what would appear to be an impossible election," they said. Noting that the entire nation was awaiting change, they said yearning for development, good governance besides social and economic justice has reached a crescendo. "In this situation, such attempts of new outfits and political platforms are hampering the cause of democracy, aspirations of the people and above all the national interest," the statement said, adding "rank opportunism and self-confessed anarchism" masquerading as a coherent political doctrine should not be allowed. Add in all the talk about "fissiparious tendencies" these 'outfits' encourage in places like Kashmir, the statement roughly translates as thus: AAP's full-frontal assault on Modi is downright unpatriotic. Arvind Kejriwal is not just a bad politician, he is a bad Indian. Now, it is self--evident that the 12 signatories are supporters of Narendra Modi. And that's perfectly fine. In a democracy, citizens are free to make a pitch for their candidate of choice -- indeed, as a measure of their political engagement, they ought to be lauded for doing so. What is bizarre and unseemly, however, is the attempt to paint AAP's political strategy of attacking Modi as a threat to the nation. AAP is doing what any party in its position would do, i.e. take on the front-runner. This is Elections 101. Candidates that lag behind gain traction by going negative on the guy up ahead. The aim is to draw blood, and slow him down. In US primary debates, for example, candidates will often unite and gang up against the front-runner. This isn't unpatriotic. It is just smart politics. Arvind Kejriwal has been just as eager to go after the Congress party when it suited his strategic objectives -- as in the Delhi elections where Sheila Dikshit was the woman to beat. But in the Lok Sabha elections, it is a waste of his party's time and energy to parrot anti-UPA narratives in the midst of a huge anti-Congress wave. This time around, the Rahul Gandhi-led Congress isn't a serious contender for the gaddi. BJP is the party to beat, and more so Narendra Modi. And while Kejriwal does not seriously expect to become Prime Minister, he (and his party) stands a decent shot of gaining electoral ground by defining himself against Modi. To demand that he abandon a sound and well-tested political strategy in the name of a misguided notion of "national interest" is a little hypocritical. And more so since, as The Telegraph reports, the "appeal" itself is a politically motivated attack aimed at defusing the threat AAP poses to Modi's ambitions: Asked if the signatories’ target was the Aam Aadmi Party, a BJP source said: “Without doubt.” “Look at the way Kejriwal is attacking only Modi and Gujarat,” the source added. “He has shifted his goalpost from corruption, scams and the Congress to Modi and, in the process, is functioning like the Congress’s surrogate.” Kejriwal, who recently criss-crossed Gujarat to try and puncture Modi’s development and governance claims, has alleged that the chief minister has mollycoddled big industry at the cost of farmers against “considerations”. A view is emerging in the BJP that Modi and the lead campaigners should directly attack Kejriwal and highlight his party’s “link” with the Congress instead of pretending that the new outfit isn’t important enough to merit attention. “The Aam Aadmi Party may not win too many seats but it can damage the BJP by splitting the anti-Congress vote if Kejriwal’s anti-Modi rhetoric works on the ground,” a source said. There is nothing wrong in taking aim at AAP or Kejriwal, or even trying to paint them as Congress surrogates. That's just politics as usual. But what is disingenuous is the pretense that his attacks on Modi are somehow unpatriotic. In every democratic nation, candidates endure a bruising electoral process which serves an important vetting mechanism. Its adversarial nature ensures an airing of all arguments for and against each of the candidates. And no man or woman who aspires to be our prime minister can or should expect to be treated as inviolate. That Modi supporters demand this as their candidate's right -- and in the name of "democratic aspirations" -- says more about them than its does of the target of their criticism.

Arvind Kejriwal dreaming to be a big.

Arvind Kejriwal- Never stick to his statements, he says something in the evening and changes in the morning. He hasn`t proved himself in any field. Last night he was chief minister this morning he wants to be Prime Minister of this country, doing nothing in life. Some people of group wants to prove in politics following him and supporting him because they are not getting chance some where elese. This is dangerous for the country since is way far from the truth.Playing with the poor and middle class people of this country. He had opportunity to  prove himself in Delhi but he was unable to handle the things and escaped from it.It would be very immature to elect him on national level,he has to spend another ten years in politics and then dream something big.
Vedang Dharashive.
